-When operating a machine you should:

• Remain calm

• Pay attention to what you are doing

• Wear the proper safety equipment

After you are finished using a machine:

• Turn it on

• Check the blade

• Clean up your area for the next user

• Have a nap

If you have an accident in the Shop:

• Report it to the Instructor

• Run out of the room screaming

• Hide it

• Pretend it didn't happen

Good safety practices include:

• Wearing eye protection

• Rolling up baggy sleeves

• Walking around equipment safely

If a machine is not working correctly:

• Shut it off and go to a different machine

• Google how to make it better

• Turn the music up in your ear buds

Students must wear full face safety shields when:

• There are no more safety glasses in the rack

• When there is a chance of flying debris

Proper footwear does not include:

• Tennis shoes

• Remain calm and walk to the nearest exit

• Scream and wave your arms

• Try to scream louder than the alarm

• Only when you see blood
