Get Ready For The SOL!

"SOL" in Spanish means "sun", so you should probably

• wear sunscreen to the test!

• do your best to shine on the test!

• avoid answering questions that are hot to the touch!

• have your teacher provide you with bottled water every 30 seconds.

If I do not know the answer to a question, I should

• skip it - no use in answering what I don't know.

• slash the trash - get rid of the answers that are obviously wrong.

• spend thirty minutes stressing over one answer.

• ask the teacher to tell you the answer.

If I come across a word that doesn't make sense, I should

• stop reading the passage immediately.

• ask the person beside me what their favorite color is.

• hope that I never needed to know that word anyway.

• use my context clues to help me have hints on understanding the word.
