Students will show listening skills by doing these behaviors:

• Eyes and body directed toward the speaker

• Silent mouths

• Not playing with anything in our hands.

• All of the above are needed to show listening

Students are expected to enter the classroom...

• Quickly and quietly

• quietly and slowly retrieving class materials.

• Quickly and quietly while reading and doing what's on the board

• Quickly and quietly while waiting for the teacher to tell the student what to do.

What should you do if you see inappropriate behavior taking place in school?

• Mind your own business and carry on with your day
• Laugh
• Yell at whoever is doing it
• Tell the nearest teacher or go to the office and let an adult know
