Where do you turn in your work (if you expect a grade)?

When should you sharpen your pencil?

• Before class officially starts!

• During class when Ms. Valencia is speaking

• Anytime!

Where should I put paper and empty plastic I want to get rid of?

• Garbage!

• The blue recycling bin

• leave it on your desk!

• Throw it on the floor

You were absent last class. What to do?

• Nothing. Ms. Valencia will tell me what I missed.

• Worry about it 3 weeks later when I see zeroes in Pinnacle.

• Immediately see Ms. Valencia about the makeup work after checking Pinnacle from home the day before.

• Nothing and then have my parents beg for make up work at the end of the quarter!

You missed a quiz or test. What do you IMMEDIATELY do?

• See Ms. Valencia for a pass to come in during my Study Hall, no longer than 2 days after missed test.

• Wait for Ms. Valencia to remember I missed a quiz/test.

• Nothing. I'm hoping I'm excused just because I was absent.

• Silently hope Ms. Valencia forgot about me.

Where does your phone go upon entering class?

• Stays in my hand

• In my pocket

• On my desk/seat

• In the phone holders hanging from cabinet door (it IS a grade!)

You arrived late to class. What should you do?

• Go around and give everyone high-fives! Woohoo!

• Make a scene and disrupt the class, because you want to be funny.

• Enter quickly & quietly, either ask Ms. Valencia or a neighbor what we are doing, and get to work. Turn in any work that's due.

• Walk in, sit down, and wait for life to happen to you.

You need to finish a test in your last class. What do you do?

• Stay there and finish, then come to Valencia's class late. Hey, I was taking a test!

• Go to class because teachers are not allowed to hold students (it's considered SKIPPING) & take test during Study Hall

• Take the test and skip Valencia's class, then complain about missing work

You are turning in work late. What are the rules?

• Depending on assignment, 10 points off each day late, unless Ms. Valencia has already passed them back, then it's an F.

• Any time, any day.

• 50 points off

• No points off!

Which laptop do you use?

• The one assigned to me (each has a number) otherwise I may be responsible for another's destruction. And I always log out at the end!

• Whichever one I happen to pick, then forget to log out, leaving all my info susceptible.

• The one my friend gets for me b/c I was too lazy to get up

• We have assigned laptops?!
