Procedures

When Mr. Bertke is talking,

• I continue to talk.

• I actively listen.

• I get out of my seat!

• I put my head down!

If I want to switch seats,

• I ask Mr. Bertke for permission.

• I just switch seats!

• I just sit there and stay mad!

Everyday I come into Mr. Bertke's classroom

• With a smile!

• With a frown!

• Mad.

• Upset

When Mr. Bertke gives you a prize,

• you complain about the flavor.

• you complain that you don't like it.

• You say thank you!

• You ask for extras.

If you need to sharpen your pencil,

• you just go up to his desk and use his sharpener.

• You ask Mr. Bertke to sharpen it or get one from his desk.

• You sit there all class without a pencil to use.

In the hallway, I am at a

If I need to use the restroom during class,

• I walk out of the room.

• I sit there all class miserable.

• I ask Mr. Bertke if I may go to the restroom.

If Mr. Bertke warns me to stop talking or playing,

• I keep talking or playing.

• I argue back saying that I wasn't talking or playing.

• I say sorry sir and fix my behavior.

• I ignore him.

In science and social studies, I will

• always try my best no matter how hard it is.

• I give up and complain.

If someone is picking on my at recess,

• I fight them.

• I complain to my parents that the teachers don't do anything.

• I let Mr. Bertke, Mrs. Clark, or Mrs. Swigart know about the issue.

• I tell no one.
