What is the first thing you should do when you enter the classroom?

• Hang out and talk to your friends until you are told to get started.

• Get out my agenda and write down my homework assignment from the board.

• Sharpen my pencil.

• Go to the bathroom.

Where do you find the date?

• On my phone.

• Either on the chalkboard or on the Calendar posted on the bulletin board.

• From my neighbor.

• Who cares what the date is.

What should I do if I am absent from class?

• Check Phoenix before coming to class after an absence to see what I missed.

• Wait until I get to class and check my "While you were out" folder for my missing work.

• Ask my teacher.

• Ask my friend.

What should I do if I need to use the bathroom during class?

• Quietly get up and walk out.

• Jump up and down so the teacher will notice that I have to go!

• Raise my agenda in the air and when the teacher "nods" at me that I have permission I will get up, sign out in the Bathroom Sign out Book, take the correct pass and leave quietly.

• Raise my hand and interrupt the lesson to ask the teacher permission to use the bathroom.

Once I have filled out my agenda with homework/announcements what should I do?

• Put my agenda away.

• Talk to my group.

• Begin working on the activity.

• Leave my agenda open on the correct date and then begin the opening activity.

If I chose to sit on a yoga ball what is the proper behavior I should exhibit?

• Roll around the room on my stomach.

• Small bounces with my feet remaining on the floor.

• Bounce as high as I can all class period.

• Pick it up and play catch with my friend.

Are there classroom supplies available to me to use?

• No, Bring your own stuff!

• Yes, they are located on the bookcase in the back of the room. I may use use them if I treat them with respect and return them neatly to their proper location.

What happens if I forget something in my locker?

• Ask the teacher as soon as you realize you forgot it to go retrieve it from you locker.

• Don't worry about it and hope that the teacher does not realize you are unprepared for class.

• Beg your neighbor to share their work with you or their supplies so you don't have to admit you forgot.

• Sometimes.

• Yes, but you must be sure that you have all your supplies first.

• NO, you should not come in until invited by the teacher.
