Honoring Parents in Islam.

Two hearts that have always loved you, they did well and showed mercy to you. They are the source of your existence.

Who they are?

• Your parents.

• Your friends.

What did Allah tell us about parents?

• "And your lord has decreed that you not worship expect him, and to parents, good treatment".

• "Say, Allah is one".

The prophet, peace be upon him, said: "Let him be humbled into dust; Let him be humbled into dust; Let him be humbled into dust" it was said: Allah's messenger, who is he? He said: "He who sees either of, or both, his parents during their old

age, but he does not enter paradise

According to this hadith the real loser in this life is

• The one who doesn't have enough money.

• The one who disrespect his parents.

The messenger of Allah said:

"in the happiness of the parents lies the pleasure of Allah, and in their anger is Allah's anger".

What does this hadith mean?

• A STRONG relationship between Allah's happiness and making your parents happy.

• making your parents angry is something please Allah.

What is the feeling of the elderly man when his son does not take care of him?

• So happy.

• So sad.

One of the companions (Sahaabah) wanted to migrate with the prophet to Madina. His parents were crying because he was leaving them. When the prophet, peace be upon him, knew about this he said to him,...............................

• Well done.

• "Go back to them and make them laugh as you made them cry".

What is the Islamic way to treat parents?

• Thank them, pray for their welfare and fulfill their wishes and requests.

• Ignore them completely.

Honoring parents means,

• Obeying parents and showing love and respect for them.

• Doing good to them by helping them and fulfilling their wishes and requests.

• All of the above.

What is the Islamic way to speak to your parents?

• Lowering your voice when talking to them.

• Using the sweetest and most beautiful words when speaking to them.

• All of the above.

Why do you think honoring parents is very important?

• It's a reason for entering paradise.

• It's one of the most beloved of deeds to Allah.

• In the happiness of the parents lies the happiness of Allah.
