What should I do if my monitor is black?

• Raise my hand.

• Press the bottom right button to turn it on. If that doesn't work, try checking the cords.

• Restart the computer.

• Ask my friend.

There is no sound from your headphones. What should you try?

• Try the volume slider on the headphone cord.

• Shake your headphones to the left and then to the right.

• Stand on your hands.

• Ask your friend next to you.

What if the volume is still too quiet?

• Just leave it alone!

• Call your mom.

• Restart the computer

• Click on the speaker on the bottom right of your screen to adjust it.

My monitor is black and the computer power button is off.

• Try the bottom right button on the monitor.

• Turn the computer power button on. Check power cords if needed.

• Go to another computer first thing before trying anything else.

• Raise your hand.

My desktop icons are all messed up! What should I do?

• Just don't touch them!

• Right click on the desktop. Click "Sort by" to sort icons by name, size, item or date.

• Call 911

• Move the icons one by one

Where does something you just downloaded show up?

• Bottom left

• Top center

• In the kitchen sink.

• bottom right

What do I do if CAstudent.kiosk comes up and there's no place to click on "Other User"?

• Type in Lab-ca

• Type the password Ksdlogin1 (then sign out)

• Type in Cougars1

• Type "Help!"

What do I do if "Lab CA" comes up and there is no place to click "Other User"?

• Call for assistance from the principal.

• Type in Ksdlogin1

• Type in 12345678

• Type in the password Cougars1 (then sign out)

What if my game won't play and it says "Click to enable Adobe Flash Player"?

• Click on where it says Adobe Flash, then on "Allow" in the pop-up box.

• Click on the gray blob and then the pop-up box that says "Allow"

• Click on the small i with a circle around it, click on Flash and then "Allow".

• Any of the above.

What could you do if your mouse doesn't work?

• Check to see if the cord is loose.

• Move the mouse around to find the cursor and check for the light on the bottom of the mouse.

• Shut down, then restart your computer.

• All of the above.
