A New Pet

Polly came home from school. Polly found a note on the table. it was from her father. The note said:

Enjoy! Love, Dad

Polly Wondered what the note meant. Then Polly saw a red dish on the floor. She had never seen the dish before.

"Mom!" Polly called. "there is a red dish on the floor!"

"Oh my, " said Mom. "I wonder why." Polly walked down the hall. On the wall,m she saw a note. It read:

Surprise!

Love, Mom

Then Polly saw a white bone on the floor near her bedroom. She had never seen that bone before.

"Mom!" Polly called. "There is a white bone on the floor by my bedroom!"

"Oh my," said Mom."I wonder why."

Beach Day

It was a beautiful, sunny day. Liam and Sam were going to the beach. When they got there, the boys decided to play in the waves. They were having a great time until Liam got too close to a wave, and it knocked him over. He was all wet, and it scared him! He decided to build a sand castle instead. Sam stayed down by the water until lunchtime.

Ice Skating

Jason and Nicole were excited. Today was a big day. They were having an ice-skating party to celebrate the end of the school year. Nicole was also nervous because she had never ice-skated. They arrived before anyone else and put their skates on. Jason took off onto the ice like a pro. Nicole could barely stand when holding onto the rail. After falling several times, she decided it would be more fun to plat the video games outside of the ice. In a few minutes, Jason joined her and played with her. Then, he held Nicole's hand when they decided to try the ice again. It was a great day with a great friend.
