Recess has been proven to be beneficial. When children have recess they tend to be less fidgety. They stay more on task. That causes learning to be quicker because children are paying more attention and there is more time to go over things. Also, children need sunlight and physical activity.

Last week, there was a concert held at the McLeod Center at UNI. The Ready Set was the opening show and the All-American Rejects and Boys Like Girls were the main performers.
