What do I do when I first walk into my Science classroom?

• Stand in the aisle and chat with a friend.

• Set my backpack down and have a seat.

• Ask Mrs. Whalen what we wil be doing today.

• Go back to my last class to get the things that I forgot.

Where should I store my backpack in my Science classroom.

• In the chair next to me.

• On the floor behind my chair.

• Hang it on the back of the chair.

• Wherever it falls is fine.

How should I enter the classroom?

• As loudly as possible so Mrs. Whalen knows I'm here.

• Silently, but I should throw down my stuff so that everyone knows how I'm feeling.

• Chatting with my best buds.

• Silently, with a smile and a good attitude.

What is the first thing I should do after I've come into the classroom and sat down?

• Take out my planner and write down the daily objective.

• Sharpen my pencil.

• Catch up on the latest gossip from my table mates.

• Put my head down- I'm tired!

What are the rules for using the restroom during Science class?

• I should use the facilities while I'm switching classes.

• If I HAVE to go, I should wait until after the lesson to ask use the restroom.

• I should come in, set down my things and then go to the restroom.

• I should wait until Mrs. Whalen is teaching and then raise my hand to ask to use the restroom.

What do I do if I have a note to turn in?

• Take it to Mrs. Whalen as soon as we come into the classroom.

• Put it on Mrs. Whalen's desk without letting her know that I'm turning something in.

• Raise my hand and let Mrs. Whalen call on me to ask what I need.

• Put the note in the "turn in" drawer.

What should I do when announcements come on the intercom?

• Stop talking and listen.

• Tell everyone to be quiet so that we can hear.

• Keep on with whatever I'm doing since I know the information is not for me.

• Scream because the intercom scared me.

Where do I turn in my science homework if I have finished it before it is due ?

• Keep it in my backpack.

• Give it to my homeroom teacher so that I won't lose it.

• Place it in the "turn in" drawer.

• Give it directly to Mrs. Whalen for safe keeping.

What happens if I don't have my science homework when it is due?

• No big deal, I can turn it in later.

• I will receive a zero, no questions asked.

• I will complete my work during reward recess.
