A solution with a lower solute concentration than inside the cell. The cell will expand (lys/burst) due to water entering the cell due to osmosis.

These are processes that bring materials inside the cells.

• Exocytosis

This is a type of endocytosis. It's when a cell engulfs materials and brings them inside the cell. Example: white blood cells taking in bacteria.

• Phagocytosis

• Exocytosis

The process of bringing liquids, like water, inside the cells. The liquid will form vesicles (sacs) of fluids when entering the cell.
