Classroom Rules and Procedures

If you are absent, to find out what you need to do, FIRST you

• ask the teacher about your missing work

• ask a friend if there was anything important done in class

• check Canvas for assignments

• create an excuse as to why you shouldn't have to turn in an assignment if you weren't in class.

Food and drinks

• are ok as long as you bring enough for the whole class

• are ok as long as you bring some for your teacher

• are not allowed in class unless it is water or a reward given by Mrs. Tobiasson

At the beginning of class, you should

• hang out with your friends

• relax and enjoy some free time

• Go to Canvas, open the weekly agenda, and start on the first assignment (warm-up).

• do nothing and be quiet

At the end of class,

• start packing up your stuff when it gets close to the end of class

• go ahead and line up when it is time to go

• don't worry about cleaning your area. The teacher will do it for you

• clean up your area; wait for teacher to dismiss you
