You need to take a hot dish out of the microwave and you don't want to burn your hand. What will you do?

• Just leave it in there.

• Use an oven-mitt or potholder to take it out of the microwave.

• Just use your hands.

• Use a pair of tongs or a spatula to try and take it out.

You burn a piece of bread in the toaster and the smoke alarm goes off. What should you do?

• Immediately exit your home.

• Take the piece of bread out of the toaster.

• Try to shut the smoke alarm off.

• Run around screaming.

You cut your finger on a can lid after using a can opener. What should you do?

• Do nothing; just keep opening the can.

• Just wash off the cut and then keep going.

• Immediately clean the cut and put a band aid on it.

• Call 911.

You leave ice cream out on the counter and it melts all over the place. What should you do?

• Throw out the ice cream container and clean up the melted ice cream.

• Just leave it there. Somebody else will clean it up.

• Put the melted ice cream in a bowl and eat it.

• Put the container back in the freezer.

Your mom asks you to peel a cucumber but you don't know where the peeler is. What should you do?

• Just don't peel the cucumber.

• Spend all your time looking for it.

• Try to use a different kitchen tool instead.

• Ask your mom where it is.

You accidentally put tupperware in the microwave and it starts to melt. What should you do?

• Just leave it in there.

• Immediately and safely take it out of the microwave.

• Call 911.

• Grab it with your bare hands, take it out of the microwave and throw it across the room.

You accidentally left a container of milk out on the counter overnight. What should you do?

• Pour out the milk and throw the container away.

• Put the milk in the fridge. It's still safe to drink.

• Drink the milk right then and there.

• Put the milk in the freezer.

The lid falls off the pitcher you're using and lemonade spills on the floor. What should you do?

• Start crying and freaking out.

• Just leave it there.

• Clean up the spilled lemonade off the floor.

• Try to put the lemonade on the floor back in the pitcher.

You want to eat some cereal, but all of the spoons are dirty in the dishwasher. What should you do?

• Eat it with your hands.

• Use one of the dirty spoons.

• Take one of the dirty spoons out of the dishwasher and wash it off in the sink.

• Use a fork.

You can't reach a bowl that you need on the top shelf of the cupboard. What should you do?

• Ask someone for help.

• Climb up on the counter and try to reach it.

• Throw something at it until the bowl you want falls down to you.

• Just use a plate instead.
