What should you NOT have on your desk during class?

• Your notebook

• Your phone

• Your pencil/pen

• Your binder

What does it mean when the teacher takes a (handshape) CLOSED X and (movement) turns in on (location) her throat?

• She has a sore throat

• Close the door

• Look at her

• Voices off

What should you do FIRST if you are absent?

• Look for what you missed and view your assignments on Google Classroom.

• Go to Google Classroom and see if there are posts for the day.

• Login with your Google account and check Google Classroom for your missed work, so you can complete them.

If you need to go to the restroom, when should you go? Check all that apply

• Anytime during class

• In the middle of a lecture

• Drop off your books and go there immediately

When is it okay to use your voice in class?

If you are absent, what should you do first?

• Ask a friend what you did in class.

• Ask the teacher what you missed.

• Check Google Classroom.

• Wait until you come back to school and wait until the teacher tells you what you need to do.

If you are late with homework, a project, or an assignment what is the penalty?

• 25% off each day it is late

• You cannot turn it in late

• 1 letter grade lower for each day it is late

If I miss a test, what should I do?

• Talk to the teacher or email her as soon as possible to set up a day to take it

• Wait for the teacher to tell me I missed a test

• Don't worry about it. Tests don't have to be made up.
