• Civil law is a body of rules that defines and protects the private rights of citizens, offers legal remedies that may be sought in a dispute

• civil law involves disputes between individuals rather than the community as a whole over an action that results in loss or harm

• children must listen to there parents and if not they will be breaking family law

• protects people from avoidable/predictable behaviour of another person or party

• it harms people in situations between a person or a party

• legally binding agreement between 2 or more people

• a contract law is concerned with protecting rights of individuals entering contract

• when an individual directly intentionally enters a person's land or property without permission.

• allowed to go where ever they want

what is negligence

• occurs when an individual or organisation fails to take proper care over something.

• when something is taken care of well

• a person or thing causing inconvenience or annoyance to someone

• the action of damaging the good reputation of someone

• not damaging a reputation but making it better
