With Regards to NAPLAN online the "SRT" refers to

With regards to the "School Readiness Test" the term omnibus refers to

• the test having a variety of reading, conventions of language and numeracy items in it

• a bus that will transport "home schooled" students to schools to enable them to do the test

With regards to 2020 NAPLAN online Year 3 students

• don't have to perform any of the test online if they don't want to

Why is the reading test completed before conventions of language when testing online?

• Because getting the spelling wrong made students feel anxious about future tests.

• The reading test is easier.

What does LDB stand for?

• Locked Down Browser

• Low Digital Bandwidth

Why do we need the Locked Down Browser?

• So the TA can control what they see.

• So they can’t copy off each other

• Ensure students only access the assessment platform and can’t access other resources
