Classroom Expectations - Math Extensions

When coming into class I should...

• Say "HI EVERYONE" as I walk in and give my friend a high five.

• Tell the teacher why I was late coming to class.

• Go to my seat, sit down, and remain quiet until the teacher addresses me.

• Throw my binder across the room and say "Catch!"

If I need to use the bathroom before I come into class I should...

• Come to class, wait five minutes, then declare that I have to use the bathroom right now!

• Wonder around in the hallways, come to class 3 minutes late, then announce to the class that I have to use the bathroom!

• Stop by the bathroom on my way to class.

• Come directly to class, ask the teacher to go to the bathroom.

What should I do with my cell phone?

• Turn it off when I walk into the building and put it in my locker.

• Leave it on and have my teacher answer it when it rings.

• Turn it off and keep it in my binder.

• Put it in my locker.

If anyone else in the classroom is talking I should:

• Pay attention, listen, if I have a question raise my hand and wait to be called on by my teacher.

• Talk to my friend, the other person's discussion has nothing to do with me.

• Listen to what the other person is saying, if I have a question ask it immediately after they are done talking.

• Be very very quiet, my teacher is going to pull a prank on the student because they are talking when they are not supposed to.

• can poke them in the side whenever I want, as long as I do not get caught.

• cannot touch them, I need to respect their boundries even if they are my friend.
