If the bell is about to ring at the start of class and you have to use the restroom, what should you do?

• Ask if you can go and take the hall pass.

• Wait till 10 minutes of class has passed and you've had a chance to complete Bell Ringer and then ask the teacher.

• Set your stuff down and tell the teacher where you're going as you're leaving. Technically, class hasn't started yet!

• Know you shouldn't go and then fearfully hold it for that entire class period.
