My father bought me a present I’ve wanted for years. It’s a dog. A puppy to be exact. I called him Ross. Ross is a small puppy. His size is as big as the palm of my hand. Ross is so fragile. Sometimes I afraid I will hurt him if I want to take him up. Dad said he found Ross near our house, crying looking for his mom. But Dad can’t see her, so Dad decides to bring him home and give him some comfort. Ross is a good eater. He always finished everything we gave him. Now, it’s been a year since Ross come to our family. His small body has grown up into a size of a football ball. Ross is a good dog, and we love him so much.

Pink Beach or Pantai Merah Muda is one of the beaches in Komodo island, East Nusa Tenggara. The beach is called Pink Beach because the sand beach is pink. The pink color of its beach is a mixture of white sand beach colors mixed with crushed coral, shells, calcium carbonate from marine invertebrates that are very small, and also Foraminifera, microscopic amoeba that has a red body shell.

At Pink Beach, there are so many marine organisms. No fewer than 1,000 species of fish, 260 species of coral, and 70 species of sponge can be found here. Having so much marine life, this place is a proper spot for snorkeling and diving for sea sports lovers.

Rafflesia Arnoldi is known as the biggest flower in the world. The name is derived from the British governor General, Sir Thomas Stamford Rafflesia , who gave attention to the botanical garden in Bogor.The Rafflesia Arnoldi consists of two parts: the stick-like part which grows in the middle and the petals around and below it. It is unusual flower because of its large size. The flower can be 1 meter in diameter and 1.40 meters in height.The Rafflesia plant begins to flower in its tenth year. It blooms three or four times a year. Before it begins to flower, the leaves and the stem become dry and look dead, but the main root in the ground is still alive. When it blooms, it has an unpleasant smell which attract insect. But when they touch the bottom part, they die.
