Jared flipped over the paper. He needed to get at least an 80% for his father to allow him to remain on the team. It was a 72%. Jared decide to hide his test in his dest until tomorrow so he could go to the game tonight. When Jared got home, his father asked him for the test. When Jared said that his teacher hadn't given it back, his father got angry. "Your teacher called to say that you left it in your desk. You lied to me just so you could go to the game tonight. Now, you are off the team and grounded. If you had told me the truth, we could have figured this out together.
