Class Expectations

How do you know when the teacher needs your attention?

• Ms. Marcuson will clap twice

• Ms. Marcuson will raise her hand and say "Give me 5"

• A buzzer will ring

• Ms. Marcuson will yell loudly

If you are tardy you should .....

• Skip class

• Walk in and announce you are tardy

• Come in quietly and Hand Ms. Marcuson your pass

Can you use your cell phone in this class?

• No - if you cell phone is out in class it will be confiscated

• Yes - if you are using it appropriately. If I have the collection basket, it means its a no phone time.

What is the procedure for using the restroom?

• Look at the wall, and if the pass is there you may take it. Hurry back as others may need it.

• Raise your hand to ask permission to leave $\rightarrow$ Take the pass $\rightarrow$ Hurry back

• Leave your seat, do a cartweel and $\rightarrow$ Take the pass

• Walk out the door

When is Ms. Marcuson available to meet with students?

• Only during class
