How much does each cup after the first add to the height of the stack? Explain how you know.

• 0.5 cm, because the stack increased by 2.5 cm when 5 cups were added.

• 1 cm, because 8 cups has a height of 8 cm.

• 1.5 cm, because 3 cups has a height of 5.5 cm.

• 2 cm, because the stack increased by 10 cm when 5 cups were added.
