Man vs. Technology

• The main character struggles with another character

• Computers, machines, robots turn against characters raising questions about what it means to be human, and what sets us apart from machines.

• An internal conflict is between a character and

  his/her self. The character’s struggle takes place in his/her

  own mind. Usually has something to do with a choice

  (choosing between right and wrong), or it may have to do

  with overcoming emotions or mixed feelings.

• A conflict that occurs when the protagonist finds himself or herself pitted against a vengeful god or powerful supernatural force.
