Important concepts are the 4 Noble Truths & the Eight Fold Path (the "Middle Way"). This religion believes in Karma and reincarnation. This religion believes that desire causes suffering. When one reaches Enlightenment, they desire nothing and are free from suffering. Nirvana is considered the ultimate state of Enlightenment.
