Your best friend has a new toy that you really like. You ask to see it and they say no. What do you do?

• Cry and walk away.

• Wait and ask again another time.

• Tell them they are mean and you don't want to be their friend anymore.

You see your friend whispering to someone else and looking at you. When you walk over they stop talking. What do you do?

• Say hello and nicely ask if you can join their conversation.

• Yell at them for talking about you.

Your brother or sister borrowed something important from you and hasn't given it back. What do you do?

• Go into their room and grab it back

• Tell mom or dad to get it for you.

• Nicely ask them to return it to you.

You asked your parent if you could have a friend over and they said no. Now you are mad. What can you do?

• Argue with your parents and tell them they are mean.

• Calmly ask why and try to discuss their reasons.

• Slam your bedroom door and flop down on your bed.

The person next to you in class keeps trying to look at your paper during a test. What do you do?

• Raise your hand and ask the teacher if you could be moved.

• Yell at the person to stop cheating.

• Let the person have your answers.

The person next to you keeps poking you with a pencil during silent reading time. It's really bothering you. What do you do?

• Yell at them to leave you alone.

• Get up and walk away.

• Ask the person to stop. If they don't talk to the teacher.

You see kids playing soccer and you ask them to join. They say no. What do you do?

• Find something else to play.

• Tell them they are mean and walk away.

• Go and sit alone.

You see kids on the swings. You want to swing too but they are all taken. What can you do?

• Yell... hey I want a turn.

• Push someone off the swing.

• Calmly ask for a turn next.

You go to sit down at lunch but your seat is taken by someone else. What do you do?

• Just stand at the table hoping someone will move.
