• Yes, they are both able to keep the memory at the same time because they are special and have a lot of power, so they can do what they want.

• No, everyone in the Community has one-generation memories except for The Receiver. Once the Giver transmits his memories of the world, he will only have the memories of his own lifetime left.

What does “seeing beyond” turn out to be?

• He can see colors, but nobody else can
