I decide that I am bored and I want to go outside.

What do I do?

• Sneak outside.

• Ask for permission to go outside.

• Ask someone else to ask an adult if I can go outside.

An adult asks me to clean up after dinner.

What do I do?

• Clean up by putting away my plate and utensils.

• Sneak Away.

• Yell, "I don't want to clean up!"

Another child at school pushes me when I am outside.

What do I do?

• Yell and curse.

• Walk away and let an adult know about the situation.

• Push them back.

I see an unattended cell phone and I want to play one of my favorite games online.

What do I do?

• Leave the phone alone.

• Ask an adult to use the phone and tell them why I would like to use it.

• Hide the phone in my pocket until I get to my room.

My teacher asks me for my homework and I didn't complete it last night.

What do I do?

• Lie and say my dog ate it.

• Hurry up and try to complete it to turn in.

• Tell the truth and say that I did not complete it.

An adult is being rude to me.

What do I do?

• Walk away and avoid confrontation.

• Yell and return rude behavior to the adult.

• Let another adult know that they are being rude.

I am watching a great show on Netflix, but Ms. Vicky told me to get ready for bed.

What do I do?

• Sneak and watch one more episode.

• Get ready for bed and ask if I can watch one more episode.

• Lie and say that I have already taken a shower and got ready for bed.

I need help with completing my homework.

What do I do?

• Quit doing my homework. Besides, I have better things to do.

• Ask an adult for assistance.

• Lie and say I completed my homework when asked.

An adult walks up to me and gives me an instruction, but I didn't hear what they said.

What do I do?

• Ignore their instruction.

• Ask them could they repeat themselves and state that I didn't hear them the first time.

• Make up some instructions based on what I thought I heard.

I am having a bad day. I didn't pass my spelling test, I didn't enjoy my lunch, and it is raining outside, so I can't play today.

What do I do?

• Take out my frustration on others.

• Talk about my frustrations with a friend or trusted adult.

• Ignore my frustrations.
