How would you approach a steady red traffic light?

• Reduce your speed and proceed through the intersection cautiously

• Come to a complete stop before the interstection

• Proceed through the intersection at current speed

• Treat the signal as you would a stop sign by coming to a complete stop and then proceed through the intersection in any direction if it is clear.

When traveling on a roadway with double and solid yellow lines side by side

• You are not permitted to cross the lines EXCEPT to make a left turn

• You may cross the lines if there is no approaching oncoming traffic
