Es freut mich, ... kennenzulernen. = Pleased to meet you (one high school student talking to another)

Es freut mich, ... kennenzulernen = Pleased to meet you (pupil talking to two adults)

Kennst du ... ? = Do you know him?

Kennst du ... ? (her) = Do you know her?

Wie geht es ... ? = How are you? (one student talking to another)

Wie geht es ... ? = How are you? (two adults who are not on a first name basis)

Wie geht es ... ? = How are they?
