Social Cohesion

وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مِنْ أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُمْ مَوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً

And among His signs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves, so that you may find tranquility in them; and He planted between you love and compassion.

Abu Hurairah quoted the Prophet (PBUH) as saying: “He is doomed, he is doomed, he is doomed.”

Someone said, “Who, O Messenger of Allah?”

He answered,

“The person whose parents, one or both of them, reach old age during his lifetime but he does not enter Paradise.”(Muslim)
