The stomata

• takes in carbon dioxide for respiration to occur

There are more stomata on

• the underside of the leaf

• the upperside of the leaf

This means, more water vapour can escape from

• the underside of the leaf

• the upperside of the leaf

• the most (e.g. 50 units) water vapour can escape

• no (e.g. 0 units) water vapour can escape
