When you are changing an infant’s diaper, never....

• Make them laugh

• Leave them unattended on the changing table

• Use more than one wipe

• None of the above

When giving an infant bath...

• Give them some privacy

• Make sure they soak in the water for at least an hour to get clean

• Dog shampoo is ok to use

• Make sure the water temperature is Luke warm

When bathing the infant...

• Only use a little bit of water, not an entire bathtub full

• Make sure the water is not too hot

• Bath the baby every few days so it doesn’t dry out their skin

• Never leave the baby unattended

• Use baby wash instead of adult body wash

When swaddling the baby

• Try to wrap the baby so the arms are secured
