Zoom Expectations

You may use the chat box

• to ask the teacher questions

• to chat with friends

• to answer a question asked by the teacher

• to be silly

• to alert the teacher of a problem/issue

It is important to be on time to your Zoom meetings so you

• can hang out with your friends

• don't miss any of the lesson

• don't interrupt the learning already taking place

• can watch everyone else come in

Why is it important to have your computer charged for the day?

• For the battery's safety.

• To not get fussed at by the teacher.

• So the battery doesn't die and you don't miss your classes/assignments.

It is easier to learn

• in a loud place where lots is going on.

• with the TV playing in the background.

• when you're playing with toys or on other devices.

• in a quiet space where nothing is around to distract you.

When on a zoom lesson, it is important

• to show my entire face.

• to show only the side of my face.

• to show my forehead.

• to show off my dog.

If I am confused or missed a lesson, I can

• visit my teacher during office hours at the end of the day.

• skip what I don't understand or miss.

• have someone else do it for me.

• review the lesson when it is posted on Schoology.

On Zoom, my name should be displayed as

• my lunch number.

• my first and last name.

• my nickname.
