Why did Jesus tell parables?

• Because it was a code that the Pharisees couldn't understand

• Because that is how he learned about the kingdom of God

• Jesus told parables to teach people about the kingdom of God

• It was fun watching the people trying to figure out the puzzle

Jesus said heaven is like a priceless pearl. What did the merchant do when he found the priceless pearl?

• He told the man that he should not sell the kingdom of heaven

• He talked it over with his family and decided to buy some pearls that didn't cost that much

• He sold everything that he had and bought the pearl.
