Barry liked playing board games, but he hated losing. He hated losing so much that he would bend or break the rules. It didn't take too long until Barry's family saw what he was doing. They tried to tell Barry to stop cheating. They said that the game wasn't any fun when he cheated, but he didn't listen. He continued cheating. His dad said, "Barry, if you keep cheating, you're never going to be able to win because no one will play with you anymore."

"You have to clean your room before you go watch the baseball game," Joe's mom said. Joe hated cleaning his room. He wanted to get done quickly so, he threw all of his clothes and toys in a huge pile in his closet and closed the door. Joe yelled "Done!". His mom came in his room to put up some clothes in his closet and everything tumbled out. "Joe" she shouted. "Now you will have to stay home from the game. If you had cleaned your room the right way the first time, you wouldn't have to miss the game."

Rachel was walking to the park when she noticed her elderly neighbor, Mrs. Smith, picking up trash that had blown onto her yard. At first Rachel kept walking, but the further she got from Mrs. Smith's house the worse she felt. Rachel stopped and decided to turn around to help Mrs. Smith pick up all the trash. Mrs. Smith was so grateful. Now Rachel knew that it was best to do kind things for others.

Jim was stacking boxes at work.  He was trying to reach the top shelf, but he wasn't tall enough.  He stretched his body, but could not reach to place the final box at the top.  Bill saw Jim struggling and came to his rescue, since he was a foot taller. Jim said, "Thank you for helping me. I never would have been able to do that by myself."
