Surat-ur-Rahman

Ar-Rahman is

• The beneficent and most merciful

• The Glorified

• The Forgiving

Allah started the surah with his name Ar-Rahman

• so that no one loses hope for His mercy.

• to answer the disbelievers who claimed the Quran is the teachings of a man not Allah's words

• All the above

مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ (19) بَيْنَهُمَا ........... لَّا يَبْغِيَانِ

• Dry pottery

• barrier

لِلْأَنَامِ

• for the creatures

• with justice

• Favors

بِالْقِسْطِ

• ships

• like mountains

• with justice

The more people understand each other,

• A- the less reasons they have for conflict.

• B- the more it leads to cooperation and love among people

• C- the more reasons they have for conflict.

• A and B

The sun and moon movement were made precise to enable people to

• have warmth

• learn the calculation of days, months and years.

• grow healthier

( أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا فِي الْمِيزَانِ (8) وَأَقِيمُوا الْوَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا الْمِيزَانَ) the Ayat talks about the importance of

• teaching man eloquence to reach better understanding

• establishing and promoting justice especially in transactions

• The precise movement of Sun and earth

Allah created barriers between seas and rivers so that

• A- the ships can run like mountains in them

• B- big seas cause the disappearance of fresh water which is needed by man, animals and plants to survive

• C- one can see the greatness of Allah in controlling the universe
