Purpose of RA 4688

• determine the character and quantity of the various chemical substances in the blood and other body fluids, secretions and excretions

• preventing the operation and maintenance of a substandard, improperly managed and poorly equipped clinical laboratories

Primary Purpose of a Clinical Laboratory

• determine the character and quantity of the various chemical substances in the blood and other body fluids, secretions and excretions

• preventing the operation and maintenance of a substandard, improperly managed and poorly equipped clinical laboratories

• advisory services covering all aspects of laboratory investigation which includes interpretation of results and advice on further appropriate investigation

• where tests are done on specimens from the human body, to obtain information about the health status of a patient, for te prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases
