APPLE MUFFINS
Material needed: •
1 cup whole meal self-raising flour • ½ cup brown sugar • ½ cup oat bran • ½ teaspoon cinnamon • ¼ cup almond flakes • 2 large green apples • 1 egg • 2/3 cup milk • 60 g butter, melted.
Procedure:
1. Turn oven to 220 C (425 F)
2. Grease 12 muffin pans.
3. Sift flour into a bowl; add sugar, oat bran, cinnamon and almonds.
4. Peel and grate the apples.
5. Put them into the bowl.
6. Mix egg, milk and melted better in a jug.
7. Add to bowl all at once.
8. Stir with a fork.
9. Almost fill the muffin pans with the butter.
10. Bake in oven for 15 to 20 minutes until golden.
11. Serve the muffins warm with butter and jam.
