1st and 2nd Joshua ch 15&16

In chapter 15 we learn about the portion from the promise land that God gave to the tribe of Judah.

In chapter 16 we learn about the portion that God gave to the tribe of Ephraim by lot, the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families, and how they let the Canaanites dwell among them.

In chapter 15 verse 18 when Achsah (Caleb’s daughter) wanted to ask her father for the field she got down from the donkey as a respect for him. We should respect our parents and the people who has authority over us. Also, we should ask our needs from our heavenly Fathers, with faith knowing that He will give us all what we need according to His will, not all what we ask for.
