THEME

The three rules of theme are:

• It is the message or lesson of the story

• It has to talk about the characters

• It has to be a complete sentence

• Must be universal and apply to everyone

• Everyone has to agree with it

• Splitting the room in half can be a good way to tackle a painting job
• It’s better to do things right the first time
• If you have a good suggestion, adults will agree with it
• Painting a room can be a time-consuming task.
