Mathematics Week 6 - Properties of Addition

Ito ay paraan sa addition kung saan ang mga addends ay maaaring magpalit ng puwesto subalit hindi pa rin magbabago ang sum.

• Identity o Zero property

• Commutative Property

• Associative Property

Ito ay nagpapakita na ang isang addend ay zero (0). Ano mang bilang idagdag sa zero ang sum ay hindi magbabago ang sagot.

Ito naman ay binubuo ng tatlo o mas marami pang addends na kung saan ang 2 addends ay pinapangkat sa pamamagitan ng close and open parenthesis saka idadagdag ang iba pang addends.

Ito ay halimbawa ng Commutative Property.

• 22 + 33 = 33 + 22

• 0 + 7 = 7

• 11 + (2 + 5) = (11+2) + 5 = 112

Ito ay halimbawa ng Identity o Zero Property.

• 35 + 0 = 35

• 11 + 56 = 56 + 11

• (3 + 4)+ 15 = 3 + (4 + 15)= 22

Ito ay halimbawa ng Associative Property.

• (3 + 4)+ 15 = 3 + (4 + 15)= 22

• 0 + 66 = 66

• 3 + 2 = 2 + 3
