(longest lifespan): Stars that are smaller than our sun and have less mass. They burn their fuel very slowly and live a very long time (a trillion plus years). These stars do not shine as brightly as others. They are not very hot compared to other stars. In fact they are the coolest type of stars. These are also the most common type of star in outer space.
