Rights of Neighbors

Al-Bukhaari (5185) and Muslim (47) narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever believes in Allah and the __________, let him not annoy his neighbour.”

It was narrated from Abu Dharr that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“When you make broth, add more water and _______________

• give some to your neighbor.”

Narrated Aisha:

I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I have two neighbors; which of them should I give a gift to?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said,____________________________

• "(Give) to the one whose door is nearer to you."

Narrated `Aisha:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said "Gabriel continued to recommend me about treating the neighbors Kindly and politely so much so that I thought he would order me to make them as my _________

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that:

"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother" or he said "for his neighbor, ____________________

• what he loves for himself."

Narrated Abu Shuraih:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe!" It was said, "Who is that, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?" He said,

• "That person whose neighbor does not feel safe from his evil."

• "That person whose neighbor is more stronger than him."

Ibn 'Abbas informed Ibn az-Zubayr, "I heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, 'He is not a ______ whose stomach is filled while his neighbor goes hungry.'"

Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying:

He who believes in Allah and in the last day should honour his guest; he who believes in Allah and in the last day should not harm his neighbor; he who believes in Allah and in the last day should speak good or keep __________.

It was narrated that Kulthum Al-Khuza’i said:
“A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, how can I know, when I have done something good, that I have done well, and if I have done something bad, that I have done a bad deed?’ The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘If your ___________ say that you have done something good, then you have done well, and if they say that you have done something bad, then you have done something bad."
