In order to make banana pancakes, start by mixing the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. In another bowl, mash the very ripe bananas until smooth, then whisk in the eggs, vanilla, and milk. Next, add the wet ingredients to the bowl of dry ones and stir until you have a smooth batter. Add butter to a pan over medium heat. Then pour in a spoonful of batter. Flip the pancake when bubbles appear. Slather your cooked pancakes with plenty of butter and syrup for a great breakfast!

Math can also help you figure out how much gas it will take to get from one place to another. Last, math can help you figure out if that giant flat screen TV will really fit in your living room. Bessie Coleman was born in a one-room shack in Texas in 1892. While working in Chicago, she overheard exciting stories from World War I and decided to be a pilot. In 1918 female African-American pilots were non-existent, but with the help of a black newspaper publisher, Coleman went to France and achieved her dream. Back in the U.S., she became known as "Queen Bess" - a celebrity daredevil pilot who performed cool stunts. She later inspired others to follow their dreams.

Boy, after four days of riding on this trailer, I am ready to be in a nice parking space in the shade. I don’t know what happened to my driver. She left one day and never came back. I sat alone in the driveway outside our house for hours. It got dark and rained, and she never came to check on me. Then, suddenly, a man shows up with a big trailer and my key. He drives me up onto the top level of this thing with all these other cars, and we’ve been on the road ever since. Yesterday, when that other truck hit us, I thought we were all goners. Thankfully we weren’t hurt. Hey, why are we stopping? That looks like...could it be? My owner! She’s here! She didn’t leave me after all! I knew I was her favorite car.
