Do's and Don'ts of Interviewing

Arrive 10-15 minutes early to use the restroom, find offices, allow for unexpected traffic problems, and to relax.

Get a good night's sleep the night before so you will be mentally alert.

Ask questions about pay and benefits.

Act as if you have to have this job no matter what.

Express enthusiasm.

Interrupt.

Bring up personal matters (personal problems, financial matters, health issues).

Criticize former employers or co-workers.

Know and correctly pronounce the names of people you meet (or are speaking with over the phone).

Use "please" and "thank you" when appropriate
