• condemn the people for the sins

• fight with those who do not obey the Law

• foretell what is going to happen in the future

• proclaim God's message to His people

To be a prophet is a blessing because:

• it can make a person rich

• it gives a person the chance to meet famous people

• it gives a person the chance to do the task given by God

• it means that a prophet automatically goes to heaven

To be a prophet is a challenge because s/he:

• does not have enough money

• encounters many hardships and suffers persecutions

• is prevented by God to do what she wants

• will not have many friends
