What is a career?

• A job that we dream to be when we grow up.

• A job that I must go to college to have.

I race to the scene in my special car, and when you see me you know that you are safe. My K-9 buddy helps me solve crimes, I wear a badge and a blue uniform at all times.

You can hear my siren from a mile away, I'm zooming in my red truck to save the day! I keep you safe using my big long hose. I race through the smoke and am a true hero.

I work very hard on our buildings and roads. My bulldozers and cranes carry a heavy load. I always wear my orange vest and hard hat. I love building and digging...all of that!

I wear scrubs, a stethoscope, and a white coat. When you're feeling sick I may look down your throat. I give you medicine and sometimes shots. I love helping you feel better.

I help keep your smile shiny and bright. I look in your mouth with my mirrors, tools, and lights. It's important that you brush your teeth two times a day. Be sure to visit me twice each year to keep the cavities away.
