Genially

To make an interactive presentation about your scientist we are going to use:

• PowerPoint

• Genially

• A flipchart

• Pieces of paper

• Nothing in particular

An interactive presentation means:

• It talks to you and tells you stories

• You can click on parts of it and it gives you more information

• You can add videos and sound effects to it

• You can make friends with it

A biography is:

• The story of a person's life

• A graph in biology

• A fairytale set in Candyland

To create your biography on genially you have to search for:

• Bio science

• Bio and then you choose whichever option you prefer

• You can choose any option of a presentation and create it however you like. It's up to you!

• Infograph to make the timeline

To add interactive parts to your presentation, you need to click:

• The right little button (with a picture of a meteorite)

• The left little button (with the picture of a hand)

• Nowhere: it's impossible to make it interactive.

• All of the answers are correct

The interactive options on genially are:

• Eat a donut

• Add music

• Add a little textbox with info

• Link to a video

• Go to another page in the presentation

To add animation to your poster (making the words or pictures move or appear or disappear):

• Click on the left little button (the hand)

• Click on the right little button (the meteorite)

• Move the words yourself

• Nothing: it's not possible,

• Ask the teacher.

A biography includes:

• When and where the person was born, lived and died

• Info about when they were a child

• Interesting facts about the person

• Contributions to society: discoveries, inventions etc.

• A picture of a telescope

To include a picture on your genially:

• Copy the picture and paste it onto the presentation

• Copy the image address of the picture, go to Image on Genially and paste the address (URL) in the box.

• You can't, it's impossible.

• Ask the teacher to help.
