What is a linocut print?

• where you draw on a plate with ink and then print that ink onto a piece of paper for 1-3 prints

• where you build the plate by gluing things to it to create texture and then print that texture

• where you cut away part of the plate to create a texture to print

• where you dip a metal plate into acid to create a texture to print

When do you clean up spilled ink?

• Right away -- it's easy to get it all over the room if there's just a little on a surface.

• Leave it til the end of class.

• Walk away, someone else will clean it up.

• Don't clean it up. It will dry eventually.
